Lab Overview

In this lab, we went to code academy and learned some more things about coding. Ilearned how to change the font, size and the color of the text. I also learned how to make tables. Lastly, I learned how to change the background of a screen.

Questions

  1. What is a server? How is it different than a standard computer?
    • A computer that provides information for other computers.They store data then send it to other computers over a network connection.A server is different because it is used only for that sole purpose, so its more reliable.
  2. What are the tags needed for HTML tables?
    • You need the tags because they are what organizes the table.
  3. What does an iFrame allow you to do?
    • iFrames are used when you want to attach another document in the document you're using.
  4. What does the tag do?
    • You use this tag to link one page to another.
  5. What does the tag do?
    • It represents a table row, this is what the tables are divided into.
  6. Find a Web Development Company; What does it cost to have them create a webpage? How long does it take?
    • App Studioz is a web development company, it takes up to thousands of dollars. It takes 10 to 16 weeks to create a page.
